To initiate the ending of employment through Founded, first click the employee's name and then the 'Terminate' button:

Next you will need to indicate whether your employee is resigning or being terminated:

Resignation vs. Termination

The end of an employee's employment can happen two ways:

  1. Resignation - The employee initiates the resignation.
  2. Termination - Your company, as employer, terminates the employee. 

When an employee resigns, it's important to obtain confirmation in writing, indicating that they are in fact resigning and their last day of work.
